The Norotos AKA II Non-Breakaway Helmet Mount is ideal match between durable, enduring Anti-Wobble stability in a platform that ensures pronounced flexibility in transitioning between HORN and DOVETAIL style NVGs. Push Button Deploy/Stow Release ensures that the AKA II remains engaged even through increasingly high velocity situations, while smooth and quiet upon engagement. Safe and easy tactile differentials on all operating levers, knobs, and buttons ensure a ruggedly durable flexibility, including NVG safety release rotating knob or release button (dependent on socket).
MOUNT INTERFACE OPTIONS: The AKA2 has two separate NVG mount interface options choose: Horn, dovetail or both. The horn interface is the familiar bayonet design that will accept a standard PVS-7 goggle or PVS-14 with installed J-Arm. Dovetail is a precision interface that accepts: PVS-15, PVS-18, and PVS-21. These modular interfaces are quickly and easily interchangeable in the field with no tools.
